Offset reacts to Takeoff’s death: ‘The pain is unbearable’
Offset reacts to Takeoff’s death – Offset has reacted for the first time to the death of Takeoff, his bandmate at Migos. The rapper writes that the pain after the loss of his colleague and friend is unbearable. Takeoff was shot dead two weeks ago.
“My heart is shattered and I have so much to say, but can’t find the words,” writes thirty-year-old Offset. “I went to sleep hoping it was all a dream, but it’s the reality. And reality feels like a nightmare.”
Offset reacts to Takeoff’s death
Offset, who formed the hip-hop group Migos with Takeoff and Quavo, had hoped that he could say goodbye to his good friend in a different way. “I wish I could hug you one last time. One last time with you could laugh, smoke and perform. You have left a great void that will never be filled.”
Earlier this year it was rumoured that a quarrel had arisen within Migos. Takeoff and Quavo then released an album together, without offset’s cooperation.
It is the first time offset has responded to Takeoff’s death. Cardi B has previously paid tribute to her boyfriend.
The rapper was shot dead in Houston in early November. Quavo witnessed the shooting but remained unharmed.
