Persebaya Loans 8 Players to Liga 2 Clubs

– Persebaya Surabaya loaned 8 of their young players to other clubs to gain experience and playing minutes. The eight players were loaned by Persebaya to the Liga 2 club.

Those on loan were Brayen Pondag, Wahyudi, Fernando Pamungkas, Saiful, Ruy Arianto, Widi Syarief, Bramdani and JMlian Mancini.

Persebaya Surabaya manager Yahya Alkatiri said talks with the club that would borrow had reached 80 percent.

“This loan is only for one season and the player will return to Persebaya Surabaya next season,” said Yahya Alkatiri, Sunday (2/7/2023).

Bajul Ijo, nicknamed Persebaya, has started the 2023/2024 League 1 season by defeating Persis Solo at Manahan Stadium, Saturday (2/7/2023).

Bruno Moriera scored two of Persebaya’s three goals and added an own goal from PSS player Faqih Maulana.
