Prabowo: Football Analogy of Life Struggle

General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, compared life to a football match. How the struggle for life is reflected like a football game.

“Almost all countries want to have a strong football team. By having a strong team, the people and nation will also be strong,” said Prabowo in his speech at the Gerindra Party Cadre Consolidation event at the Jakarta International Velodrome (JIV) Rawamangun, East Jakarta, on Sunday (16/7/2023).

Prabowo also stated that other nations wish to become champions in multi-event events such as the Olympics, Asian Games, world championships, or the World Cup in certain sports. This is because this success will become a source of pride and elevate the nation’s dignity in the eyes of the world.

“We must be champions in all fields and must not underestimate other nations. We have the ability to achieve this if we have a strong will and determination,” said Prabowo to Gerindra cadres and sympathizers.

Prabowo also revealed that his party was building a football academy in Bekasi, West Java (West Java). Construction of the field and academy is scheduled to be completed in October.”

In October, we will complete the construction of seven football pitches. As an Indonesian citizen, I would like to donate this soccer academy to all those who wish to send their children to a soccer academy. I have aspirations to have a strong football team,” said Prabowo.

Defense Minister Prabowo also gave permission for Persija Jakarta to practice at the stadium to be built, especially since the club nicknamed the Tigers of Kemayoran does not yet have its own stadium or headquarters.
