PSIS vs Persebaya: Mahesa Jenar Prepares Mentally Against Bajul Ijo

– PSIS Semarang captain, Septian David emphasized his team’s readiness to face Persebaya Surabaya in the continuation of League 1. The PSIS vs Persebaya match was held at the Jatidiri Stadium, Sunday (16/7/2023) at 15.00 WIB.

Apart from the physical preparation of the players, David said that there were other factors that could make PSIS Semarang beat Persebaya Surabaya, namely the mental preparation of the players.

“What’s certain is mental. That’s the main thing in the match. It’s useless to have skills the good thing is if there is no mentality on the field you can’t go all out. Must be mental. That enthusiasm from players can change the team even better. The match will be a bit more difficult, but we are not afraid. The important thing is we are excited,” he said.

Currently, David and all PSIS players are ready to compete both tactically and physically. Not only that, in the PSIS vs Persebaya match, David emphasized that there would be a change in composition so that the game scheme would be more lethal.

“What is certain is that everything has been prepared in terms of tactics, all kinds of strategies have been prepared by coach Gilbert from now on until the match. The players themselves must all be ready. Maybe there will be a rotation too, maybe later,” he added.

Previous defeats, added David, will not be repeated. In fact, he is optimistic that he will excel against Persebaya Surabaya. The whole team has already evaluated and will improve against Persebaya later.

“Yesterday’s match against Persita was an experience, we will improve ahead of Persebaya’s match. Moreover, we are playing at home. These first two matches I feel that I have not been optimal, in every game or practice I will continue to maximize, I will improve,” he explained.

Persebaya’s game must be admitted to be quite good. But even so, PSIS Semarang has anticipated it with various exercises.
