Samsung Will Hold Galaxy Unpacked Earlier Than Usually, When?

Based on reports The Elec quoted 9to5GoogleSunday (5/3/2023) it is known that Samsung has been testing this new hinge.

However, these tests range from its resistance to 200,000 folds. This figure is the same as the test for the previous Galaxy Z Fold and is far from its emerging competitors, namely the Honor Magic VS and Oppo Find N2 by 400,000 times.

In the report, it was stated that previously the hinge would be tested to a maximum limit of 300,000 folds. However, 200,000 folds seems to be the ultimate limit of the Galaxy Z Fold 5’s hinge. In fact, the hinge must retain at least 85 percent of its strength after going through 200,000 folds.

In theory, this test could probably represent around five years of using this foldable smartphone with more than 100 folds per day.

Meanwhile, Samsung’s two competitors are expected to last for around 10 years, which is generally the longest time in the use of electronic devices.
