Siri Will Get Smarter with Generative AI, Ready to Compete with ChatGPT and Gemini?

Apple's plan to bring AI chatbot ChatGPT to the iPhone via the iOS 18 update looks like it will become a reality with the help of OpenAI.

Yes, Apple and OpenAI are currently reportedly holding intense talks to bring AI chatbot technology to their products.

This information is confirmed by a report by Bloomberg correspondent, Mark Gurman. “Apple is finalizing an agreement with OpenAI,” quoted a Bloomberg report via Engadget, Sunday (12/5/2024).

Mark Gurman said, “Apple and OpenAI are talking about several generative AI features–such as chatbots–will be introduced alongside iOS 18 this year.”

Unfortunately, what these features are is not yet known. However, based on information currently circulating, certain iOS applications will be integrated with AI.

Some of these applications include Safari and Messages. It is possible that the default iOS application will be equipped with a feature that can summarize content on the screen using only keywords.
