Atletico Madrid continues to stick to Real Madrid in the Spanish League standings after a goal feast against Real Valladolid, Sunday (30/4/2023) local time or Monday (1/5/2023) early morning WIB.

Atletico Madrid won a landslide 5-2 win over hosts Real Valladolid in Week 32 of the Spanish League.

Playing at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla Stadium, Atletico dominated the match. An amazing performance was shown by Diego Simeone’s team.

Five Atletico goals were scored by five different players. The five goals were scored by Nahuel Molina (20th minute), Jose Maria Gimenez (24), Alvaro Morata (38), Joaquin Fernandez (86′ own goal), and Memphis Depay (90+3).

The 2 Valladolid goals were presented by Cyle Larin three minutes before halftime through a penalty kick and Sergio Escudero Palomo in the 74th minute.

This victory kept Atletico attached to Madrid in the Spanish League standings with 66 points from 32 matches.

Atlético is in third place in the Spanish League standings. Diego Simeone’s team is under Real Madrid, which has 68 points. Barcelona is firmly at the top of the Spanish League standings with 79 points.

With this defeat, Valladolid is still in 15th place in the Spanish League standings with 35 points from 32 matches.

Despite being in 15th place, Valladolid is not yet safe from relegation. Because, Valladolid is only 4 points ahead of Espanyol who are in 18th place.
