After the Eid Holiday, Jakarta is Back to Congestion

Jakarta and its surroundings returned to traffic jams on Tuesday (2/5/2023) after the Eid holiday.

The traffic jam was caused by school and office activities starting after the long Eid 2023 homecoming leave.

According to TMC Polda Metro Jaya’s Twitter, the traffic situation on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 00+700 (Halim) heading towards Cawang was observed to be congested. However, in the opposite direction, traffic is monitored smoothly.

However, the traffic flow at the Tegal Parang toll exit heading towards Tendean and towards Semanggi was observed to be very busy.

Situation of traffic flow at traffic light Channel Jl. Lt. Gen. Suprapto heading for Senen and Bungur directions, on Tuesday morning, was also closely monitored.

Furthermore, the traffic situation at the Tugu Tani Central Jakarta traffic light heading towards Gambir and Kwitang was observed to be very busy.

Monitoring traffic in Ciputat, South Tangerang, congestion has occurred at several points. At the Sasak junction, Sari Asih Hospital junction, in front of the Ciputat Ministry of Religion Education and Training Center, UIN Syahid Jakarta, and the Gintung intersection.
