Reporting from Coinmarketcap, the project launched in 2020 aims to provide a fast, efficient and safe transaction platform. It claims to solve a number of network problems, including slow confirmation times, price volatility and wide adoption.

Amp claims to offer an easy yet versatile view of verifiable collateral via a collateral partitioning system and collateral manager. Collateral partitions can be designated to collateralize any account, application, or even transaction, and carry a balance that can be verified directly on the Ethereum blockchain.

In trading, Wednesday (13/3/2024), AMP Coin experienced quite significant price strengthening. Based on data from Coinmarketcap, the price of AMP Coin is IDR 214.40 with a 24-hour trading volume of around IDR 22.3 trillion. AMP Coin managed to gain 77.33 percent in the last 24 hours.

AMP Coin has a market capitalization of around IDR 9 trillion. To date, there has been a circulating supply of 42.23 billion AMP Coins out of a maximum supply of 99.44 billion.

Amp's parent company is Flexa, a New York-based blockchain payments company specializing in FinTech and building a future with more efficient, secure, and affordable real-world payments.

Flexa was co-founded in 2018 by Trevor Filter, Zachary Kilgore, and Tyler Spalding. Spalding, who serves as CEO of Flexa, launched the Amp project with help from the Flexa team.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
