Travis Barker illness – Travis Barker was in the hospital last week with pancreatitis, a serious acute pancreatitis. That writes the 46-year-old drummer of blink-182 on Twitter.

“I had an endoscopy on Monday and I felt great, but after dinner I suddenly had an excruciating pain and since then I have been in the hospital,” writes Barker, who recently married Kourtney Kardashian.

“During the endoscopy, a small polyp was removed from a sensitive spot, but unfortunately that hit a very important part of my pancreas. That caused life-threatening pancreatitis.” (Travis Barker illness)

Barker writes that he is now doing a lot better. “Intensive treatments make me feel much better and I’m grateful for that,” he concludes.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Barker had been taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles. Due to the inflammation, he would suffer from nausea, severe abdominal pain and vomiting. His wife Kourtney was with him in the hospital.
