Zidane Opens the Door to Deal with Manchester United

Manchester, Beritasatu.com – Zinedine Zidane has reportedly opened the door to the possibility of becoming Manchester United (MU) coach amid reports of interest from the club's new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe. As is known, Zidane, who has won three Champions League titles as a coach, has been unemployed since 2021.

Real Madrid is the only club he has ever coached. Reports from France claim that Ratcliffe, who has just been confirmed as one of MU's new owners and is responsible for all football affairs at the English giants, has made Zidane his dream coach.

Ratcliffe was even ready to do everything to make the deal happen. Zidane previously stated that a move to an English club was not easy because he was not fluent in English.

He once said this when interviewed L'Equipe in 2022, a year after leaving Real Madrid: “If I go to a club, the aim is to win. I say this with all humility. That's why I can't go anywhere. Not long ago, Zidane emphasized his desire to return to coaching the team. “Why not? Anything can happen. However, right now I'm doing something else. “I'm sure I will return to the bench, I want to train again,” said Zidane.
