Adeyemi and Maatsen Win Dortmund over Union Berlin

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Borussia Dortmund got full points after successfully beating Union Berlin with a score of 2-0 in the Bundesliga match week 24 at An der Alten Stadium, Berlin, Saturday (2/3/2024) evening WIB.

Two goals from the visiting team in the German League continued were scored by Karim Adeyemi and Ian Maatsen.

Die Borussen failed to win their previous two matches and are now being chased by RB Leipzig.

Based on the official Bundesliga website, this result places Dortmund in fourth place in the German League standings with 44 points from 24 matches, still one point ahead of Leipzig who won 4-1 over Bochum in the other match.

Meanwhile, Union remains in 14th position with 25 points.

Karim Adeyemi opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 41st minute.

The stab from the right ended with a hard kick that hit the crossbar before finally entering the goal.

After posing a continuous threat to Union's goal throughout the match, Dortmund scored their second goal towards the end of the match in the 90th minute.

Ian Maatsen snatched the ball from Josip Juranovic, then ran towards the goal and managed to beat the goalkeeper to make the score 2-0.

This goal marked Dortmund's victory over Union Berlin.
