Arcade Fire will give a concert in Ziggo Dome Amsterdam as part of the WE world tour on Wednesday 28 September 2022. That will probably happen without William Butler, who previously reported to have left the band.
The Canadian band releases the sixth album WE on Friday and recently released the two singles The Lightning I, II and Unconditional I (Lookout Out) which are both on the album.
The release of WE coincides with the announcement of the eponymous world tour in the fall of 2022. Arcade Fire did as a precursor some surprise performances in Toulouse Theatre (New Orleans), Bowery Ballroom (New York), the Mojave Tent at Coachella and KOKO (London).
The official kick-off of the WE tour is in Dublin on Tuesday 30 August. The last show is in Toronto on December 1st. In Europe, Feist is the band’s ‘special guest’.
Arcade Fire last played in the Netherlands in 2018. The band then gave a concert in Ahoy. Ticket sales for the concert in Ziggo Dome start on Friday 13 May at 10.00 am via Ticketmaster.
