Producer Asit Kumar Modi said in an interview to the media, “This is just a false and baseless allegation, there is no truth in it. She is just trying to malign my image. I will never accept that charge. Everyone knows how I am in real life. We were the ones who removed him from the show. My team and I have asked him to drop it. We have all the proofs. My production will send all proofs and documents to all of you very soon. Since she is trying to malign the show and my image by making false and baseless allegations, we will take legal action against her.”
In a statement released by the team of the production house “Neela Telefilms” about Jennifer Mistry, they said, “She was not behaving at all well on the sets. She was not paying attention to her work. We used to complain to the production head everyday because of his behaviour. Not only this, on the last day he abused the set in front of the entire unit. Didn’t even complete the shoot and abused everyone on the set.”
It further added, “He always misbehaved with the entire team of the show. While leaving for the shoot, she accelerated her car and rammed into people who came on the way. Not only this, they also damaged the property on the set. We had to cancel his contract because of his bad behavior during the shoot. Asit Modi was in America at the time of this incident. Now she is trying to malign the image of the show by making baseless allegations against us. We have lodged a complaint with the concerned authorities against these baseless allegations.”
