Asked about the possibility of returning to being a permanent racer, this is Pedrosa’s answer

– KTM rider Dani Pedrosa has ruled out a return to full-time or permanent racing. Even though he had decided to retire, Pedrosa performed very well and received a lot of praise for his performance at Jerez.

Pedrosa finished sixth in the race sprints in the Spanish MotoGP or the fourth time, but the first for a KTM test racer.

His real influence was visible on the podium, where Brad Binder and Jack Miller stood thanks to the bike Pedrosa had developed.

At 37 years old and racing for the second time in the last four years, Pedrosa is not tempted to return permanently even though there is another MotoGP legend who continues to race on four wheels, namely Valentino Rossi.

“Car racing is not the same as motorcycle racing. No, no, I’m fine. I’m very happy. I really enjoy what I do,” Pedrosa was quoted as saying Crashes.

Regarding his struggles in the sprint race at Jerez, Pedrosa admitted that he clearly saw the fierce battle between Brad Binder and Jack Miller at the forefront.

“Jack, I don’t know what happened, but he is third. Two bikes on the podium, my bike is very close, it is very satisfying,” he said.

The sprint format is new for Pedrosa and he thinks sprint racing is very aggressive.

“The riders tried to get as many positions as possible, as early as possible. The second start was good for me, but I chose to be on the outside because there were a few riders that collided on the inside, so I chose the outside and then somehow they crashed. I pushed out and I lost,” he said.

Pedrosa appears at MotoGP Jerez after getting wild card.
