Bayern vs Dortmund Result 0-2, Die Roten Sinks at Alianz Arena

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Borussia Dortmund managed to beat hosts Bayern Munich with a score of 2-0 in the Der Klassiker match in Week 27 of the 2023/2024 Bundesliga, Saturday (30/3/2024) evening local time or Sunday (31/3/2024) early morning WIB . The match, entitled the 135th edition of Der Klassiker, took place at the Allianz Arena, Munich.

This defeat at home is a blow for Bayern who are trying to catch Bayer Leverkusen. In fact, over the last 10 years Dortmund failed to get the full three points at the Allianz Arena.

At the start of the match, Dortmund took advantage of a gap in the opponent's defense and scored a goal through Karim Adeyemi in the 10th minute. Julian Brandt managed to send a measured pass between the defenses of Die Roten, nicknamed Bayern. Karim Adeyemi swiftly found a gap in the penalty box and calmly put the ball into the left corner of the goal which Sven Ulreich couldn't reach.

In the 23rd minute, Harry Kane had a golden opportunity to equalize the score. However, the English striker's header still deviated from Alexander Meyer's goal.

Even though Bayern tried to control the game, Dortmund remained strong in defense and even created golden opportunities through counter attacks. In the 53rd minute, Felix Nmecha was in a single situation against Ulreich, but his shot was saved by Bayern's substitute goalkeeper.

Entering the 63rd minute, Thomas Tuchel tried to make changes by making substitutions. Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Mathys Tel came on to replace Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller.

Unfortunately, Bayern's defense collapsed with the second goal scored by Julian Ryerson in the 83rd minute. Sebastian Haller successfully sent a through ball into the penalty box controlled by Julian Ryerson. He then fired a kick that Ulreich couldn't reach.

With this 2-0 win, Dortmund maintains their hopes of winning a Champions League ticket next season, while Bayern is further away from defending the Bundesliga title which they have won consecutively since the 2012/2013 season.

Dortmund is in fourth place with 53 points, while Bayern is in second place with a difference of 13 points from the leaders, Bayer Leverkusen.
