Beat Arsenal 4-1, Man City Cut the Distance to Only 2 Points

– Defending champions Manchester City performed stunningly to seize full control in the Premier League title race by demolishing standings leaders Arsenal, 4-1, Thursday (27/4/2023) early morning WIB.

Playing at home, Man City crushed their rival thanks to two goals from Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones and Erling Haaland. Meanwhile, Arsenal’s goal was scored by Rob Holding. De Bruyne became a star in this home party by producing two goals and one assists. Meanwhile Haaland produced one goal and two assists.

Thanks to this 23rd victory, Man City also collected 73 points while reducing the gap with Arsenal to only two points. Pep Guardiola’s troops benefit because they have only played 31 times while Arsenal have played 33 times.

In this home game absolutely excelled with 52% possession, taking nine straight shots at goal. Man City could have won with a bigger score if Arsenal’s goalkeeper had not performed well. Aaron Ramsdale recorded six saves which made the Gunners did not lose by more goal difference.
