Becoming a Victim of Racist Humiliation, Vinicius Jr. Expected to Survive in Madrid

Real Madrid club manager Carlo Ancelotti said on Tuesday he expected Brazil forward Vinicius Jr to stay at the Spanish club despite facing racist insults in several La Liga games.

“I don’t think (he will leave Spain), because he loves football and he loves Real Madrid. His love for the club is huge and he wants to have a career here,” he told a news conference.

In a case of racist insults, Spanish police have arrested three people in the eastern city of Valencia in connection with racist insults made to Real Madrid’s Brazil forward Vinicius Jr during Sunday’s match at Valencia’s Mestalla stadium, police said on Tuesday.
