Chico and Febriana/Amalia Enter the Taipei Open 2023 Final

– The remaining two Indonesian representatives, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo and the women’s doubles pair Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi have made it to the finals of the 2023 Taipei Open.

This was confirmed after Chico and Febriana/Amalia defeated their opponents in the semifinals which took place at the Tian Mu Arena, Saturday (24/6/2023).

The first ticket to the final was won by Chico who managed to beat Wang Tzu Wei. Chico didn’t have much trouble beating his opponent.

He only needed 38 minutes before finishing the match with a score of 21-6, 21-18.

Chico’s victory was followed by Febriana/Amalia. Occupying the first seed, Febriana/Amalia managed to silence the third seed host representative Lee Chia Hsin/Teng Chun Hsun 21-16, 21-19.

Furthermore, in the final, Febriana/Amalia will face the fifth seeded Korean pair, Lee Yu Lim. Shin Seung Chan
