Enlivening the foldable screen cellphone market, Xiaomi will release two foldable phones at once

On the other hand, Xiaomi claims that they are currently the second largest tablet player in Indonesia.

Xiaomi Indonesia Product Marketing Manager, Rendy Tonggo, said that based on a survey conducted by Canalys, Xiaomi controls the second largest market share in Indonesia in the fourth quarter of 2023.

“Based on Canalys data for the fourth quarter of 2023, Xiaomi is the number two tablet player in Indonesia,” said Rendy, met after the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 in Jakarta, Thursday (2/4/2024).

This achievement cannot be separated from Xiaomi's increasingly diligent efforts to bring tablet products to the Indonesian market.

Throughout 2023, said Rendy, Xiaomi will bring three new tablets. In detail, there are two tablets Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad SE. Then another one is a tablet that is a continuation of the Redmi Pad.

“We really focused on the tablet line last year, therefore, we could be number 2,” he said.

Rendy did not reveal which tablet is selling best on the market. However, according to him, all of them have good market performance.

“Everything is good, of course people are waiting for products from Xiaomi because (the products) provide very good value for users,” he said.
