Mumbai: The Filmfare Award is going to be held today at Jio World Center in Bandra, Mumbai. Superstar Salman Khan will host this award show. For the last few days, Salman Khan is receiving constant threats, in which case his security is being beefed up. Along with this, strong security arrangements are being made at the venue of the award show as well.
Let us tell you that Salman Khan is hosting Filmfare after a long time. After the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, everyone is eager to meet the ‘Bhaijaan’ of the industry. Apart from Salman, many big faces of the industry are going to participate in the 68th film.
Reliance’s Jio World Center includes a large mall as well as many restaurants and high-end shops. Usually, such award functions are organized outside the country or in a studio, where security arrangements are easier than organizing events in public places.

This is the reason why the security arrangements for this event to be held at a public place like Jio World Center have been further tightened. For two consecutive years, Filmere is happening at the convention center of Jio World. Earlier it was organized in Film City, Mumbai. Talking about the Filmfare 2020, this award show took place in Guwahati, Assam.
