Desk. Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and music composer. Today Arijit is celebrating his 35th birthday. He was born on 25 April 1987 in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal. Singer belongs to a Punjabi Sikh Family. He started his musical training from a very young age. Arjit was fond of singing since childhood. Arijit’s maternal aunt specialized in Indian classical music and his maternal grandmother used to sing. Arjit’s interest in music had increased even more due to the musical environment in the family.
Arijit learned from many artists
Arijit did his schooling from Raja Vijay Singh High School and obtained his degree from Shripat Singh College. Singer is educated in classical music. Singer used to listen most to music, Beethoven and Bengali classical music. He has listened to the best music of big artists like Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Rashi Khan, Zakir Hussain.
Arjit had lost the Gurukul show
Arijit started his singing career when his mentor Rajendra Prasad Hazari asked him to participate in Gurukul (2005). During that time Arijit was only 18 years old. Although Arjit was out of the show in the audience polling. Arijit finished sixth in the show. It was during this show that Sanjay Leela Bhansali sensed the talent inside Arjit and made him sing the song You Shabnami for the film Saawariya. However, due to some reason the script of the film was changed and the song was never released after that.
Won the show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil
After leaving Gurukul, Kumar Taurani, who heads Tips, signed Arijit for one of his albums. This album, however, was never released. After this, Singer participated in another show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil. Arijit won the show. After that he decided to go to Mumbai. Arjit Lokhandwala lived during that time. With the prize money of ten lakhs won in the show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil, Arijit built his own recording studio, from which he started preparing as a music producer and composer. Arijit started working with well-known music composer Pritam.
Songs sung in many films
With Pritam she worked for films like Golmaal 3, Crook. He also sang songs for the Telugu film industry during this period. In the year 2011, Arijit Singh started his Bollywood singing career with the film Murder 2. He sang the song Phir Mohabbat for this film. After that he sang songs for many Bollywood films. In which Raabta, Uska Hi Banna, Nashe Si Chad Gayi, Aashiqui, Kabira, Elahi have sung the best songs. During this, Arijit has also won many excellent awards.
