Gibran Gets a Super Elja Jersey While Watching PSS Sleman vs Persita

Solo, Beritasatu.com – Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka watches the match between PSS Sleman vs Persita Tangerang in the 2023/2024 League 1 season continuation match at Manahan Stadium, Solo City, Central Java, Tuesday (27/2/2024). On that occasion, Gibran received a Super Elja jersey.

PSS Sleman became a traveling team because the Maguwoharjo Stadium, which is the home ground for the team nicknamed the Javanese Super Eagles (Elja), is being renovated. They had to look for an alternative stadium until finally Manahan Stadium, Solo City was chosen as their temporary home.

Based on Beritasatu.com's monitoring, Gibran arrived at Manahan Stadium at around 15.40 WIB and immediately sat in the VIP stands with the Director of PT Putra Sleman Sembada (PT PSS), Gusti Randa. Both of them seemed to be enjoying the tight match.

In the middle of the first half, Gusti Randa suddenly gave PSS Sleman's home jersey to Gibran. The green jersey was happily received by President Jokowi's eldest son.

When met after the match, Gibran admitted that he was satisfied with the orderly match. He also appealed for this to be maintained in the next four remaining matches.

Regarding the jersey given by Gusti Randa, Selvi Ananda's husband expressed his thanks and hoped that everything could run orderly and safely.

Meanwhile, Gusti Randa also expressed his thanks to Gibran as mayor of Solo and also the Solo Police Chief, Police Commissioner Iwan Saktiadi, who had given permission for PSS Sleman to temporarily reside in Solo.

“We would like to thank the guardian and the police chief for giving us permission to stay here. The results of the first match were quite good and we from PSS Sleman have appealed to the supporters to be orderly. “Because no matter how good the team we support is, if we are not orderly it is not good,” he said.

Regarding the jersey given to Gibran, the lawyer and former film actor said the jersey was a gift from him.

“There is no name or number. “That's just a gift from us because we have given permission to compete here,” he said.

In the end, PSS Sleman was only able to draw 3-3 against Persita Tangerang in the League 1 match.
