Instagram Caught Testing Close Friends Feature for Uploads in Feed

With this new Instagram feature, later users will be able to insert music into Carousel photo posts, so that there will be music to accompany us when swiping several photos in the post.

To quote The VergesMonday (1/5/2023), this feature was also announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg through the channel broadcasts Instagram, and mentions that this feature already exists in several countries.

Even though Meta doesn’t reveal the countries in question, based on Tekno Liputan6.com’s monitoring, the feature of adding music to Carousel posts can already be tested in Indonesia.

Later, users just have to do the steps to upload photos as usual. But after selecting several photos for the post, there will be an “Add Music” option when writing caption or tag someone.

Even so, there is still a note from Instagram under the feature, namely: “(IG-Only): Music will only be visible to internal users.”

Here, Instagram users simply select the part of the music they want to include in the post, then upload the photo as usual.

Besides that, Mark Zuckerberg also mentioned, Instagram is testing the feature of adding music to Notes. Friends who see the status will also be able to see the name of the song and artist with our post.
