Jose Mourinho Reportedly Exploring Negotiations to Become PSG Coach

– The name Jose Mourinho is surprisingly reportedly in advanced talks to become the next Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach.

The Portuguese coach is currently in charge at AS Roma, but there is uncertainty over his future at the club. Until now, Mourinho has not discussed the matter of a new contract at Roma considering that his old contract ends in 2024.

According to RMC Sport, PSG director Luis Campos has spoken to the agents of the two-time Champions League winners about a possible arrival this summer. The Spanish outlet also stated that negotiations are ongoing between Campos and Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

After joining Roma in 2021, Mourinho helped the club to European silverware last season after winning the European Conference League.

Roma currently sits seventh in the Italian league standings, with 17 wins and 10 defeats from 34 games this season. But Roma failed to record a win in its last four matches.

RMC Sport say that PSG are looking for a new coach to take over from Christophe Galtier and have also been in contact with representatives of Thiago Motta and Julian Nagelsmann.

Galtier recently denied wrongdoing after he allegedly made racist comments about some of his players.
