One Fight Night 10: Johnson vs Moraes, Rodtang, Stamp Trilogy Ready to Rock America

– The American free fighting arena will be shaken by the inaugural One Championship event titled One Fight Night 10 in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday (6/5/2023). A host of star-studded fighters with three bouts for world titles will delight martial arts fans.

The main event saw a trilogy bout between Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson (24-4 MMA record) and Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes (20-4 MMA record) for the One Flyweight MMA world title. This will be the third meeting for the two.

In the first meeting, Moraes created a surprise by becoming the first fighter to KO Johnson with a knee strike. In his legendary career in the UFC, no one has ever beaten Johnson in a dominant way. In fact, Johnson still holds the record for the longest title defense record in the UFC with 11 times.

In his second duel in August 2022, Johnson countered by landing a flying knee that beat Moraes.

Apart from that, don’t miss the second fight that you can’t miss. Thai champ Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon (270-42 Muay Thai/Kickboxing record) will defend his Muay Thai Flyweight World Title against Edgar Tabares (32-5-1 Muay Thai/Kickboxing record).

Rodtang, who is undefeated in Muay Thai and Kickboxing matches in ONE Championship, will defend his Muay Thai Flyweight World Championship against newcomer Tabares. Rodtang is known for his incredible aggressiveness and resilience, while Tabares is looking to create some surprises in his One debut.

Moreover, this event will be held on May 5 Mexican time, a holiday known as “Cinco de Mayo”, for Mexicans. Of course, this is an additional motivation for Tabares.

Tabares plans to shock the world by becoming the first person to beat Rodtang in ONE Championship. With an efficient defensive style and redoubled enthusiasm, it is not impossible that Rodtang will experience his first collapse.

However, Rodtang’s leg kicks and powerful combinations are still something that will be difficult for anyone to resist.
