SEA V League 2023: Indonesian National Volleyball Team Beats Vietnam 3-0

Bogor, Beritasatu.com – The second victory was won by the Indonesian men’s volleyball national team in the SEA V League 2023 event. This time Indonesia managed to conquer Vietnam in three straight sets 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-20) at the Candradimuka Sports Hall Padepokan Volleyball Police General Kunarto, Sentul, Bogor, Saturday (22/7/2023).

Indonesia played dominantly in this match. In the first set, Indonesia immediately took the initiative to attack and was five points ahead 18-13. Vietnam’s serve which was unable to cross the net made Indonesia close the opening set with a score of 25-20.

In the second set, Vietnam had a three-point lead. But it didn’t last long. Indonesia was able to turn things around by winning four points, 16-11. Indonesia’s advantage continued to close the second set with a 25-19 victory.

In the deciding set, Indonesia immediately played a fast tempo. The score was tight 5-4 still for Indonesia’s advantage. The points chase between the two teams took place with Indonesia winning 15-13. Vietnam was finally unable to stem the fast-paced attacks from Indonesia, which won the last five points to secure victory.

With this victory, Indonesia is currently at the top of the standings with six points, the same as Thailand which previously won over the Philippines. Meanwhile, Vietnam is currently in the bottom position with zero points from two matches.

Indonesia will then face Thailand in the final match of the first series, Sunday (22/7/2023) at 18.30 WIB. Meanwhile, Vietnam will face the Philippines on Sunday at 15.00 WIB.

After completing the first series in Bogor, the SEA V League 2023 will hold the second series in the Philippines from 28 to 30 July.
