Liputan6.com, Jakarta- Netizens' criticism of the new Indonesian national team jersey design made by the new apparel sponsor, Erspo, has borne fruit. Erspo stated that it would replace the Indonesian national team jersey, but it will only be launched in August.

As is known, the new Indonesian national team jersey was launched on March 18 2024. Erspo was chosen to provide the national team's match equipment to replace Mills, whose contract with PSSI has expired.

Erspo immediately introduced home and away match and training jerseys. The home jersey is red and the away jersey is white and white. This match costume was immediately worn by the Indonesian national team in two 2026 World Cup Qualification matches in the Asian zone against Vietnam.

For the home jersey, Erspo made a jersey inspired by the success of the Indonesian national team when they beat Japan in 1981. However, this new jersey received a negative response on social media. Many people sneered at the design. Some even think it looks exactly like the Singapore national team jersey or elementary school children's sports uniform.

Erspo then responded to the various criticisms by promising to collaborate with various parties and release a new design by mid-2024.
