The price of Xiaomi 14 in Indonesia is IDR 11.9 million, how come it is more expensive than Xiaomi 12?

After being released in Barcelona, ​​Spain, two months ago, Xiaomi officially brought its newest flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 14, to Indonesia.

This cellphone, which collaborates with Leica, is priced at IDR 11.9 million. Only one version was released in Indonesia, namely the Xiaomi 14 with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory.

The first sales of the Xiaomi 14 will only start on March 29 2024. The main selling point of the Xiaomi 14 is its photography capabilities. This cannot be separated from the collaboration between the Chinese technology company and Leica.

The reason is, the Xiaomi 14 camera uses the latest generation Summilux lens to provide a more authentic smartphone photography experience.

Product Marketing Manager, Xiaomi Indonesia, Calvin Nobel, said that the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica presented the Xiaomi 13 which has 'Lens to Legend'.

“Lens to Legend means that users can turn ordinary moments into legendary memories,” said Calvin at the launch of the Xiaomi 14 cellphone, Tuesday (26/3/2024) in Jakarta.

According to him, the collaboration with Leica presents the next generation of Leica optics.
