HoYoverse announced that Genshin Impact will hold a Genius Invocation TCG tournament entitled “Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup.”

Genius Invocation TCG itself was introduced through Version 3.3 Genshin Impact, as a permanent mode in the RPG game.

Quoted from IGN, a few months ago, Genshin Impact allowed the Genshin Impact Tavern community to launch a community tournament system on Discord for Cat’s Tail Gathering, the Genius Invocation TCG tournament from Genshin Impact.

HoYoverse recently announced that they will hold an official tournament for the TCG mode called Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup.

This tournament will consist of regional and cross-regional events, and will take place between June and December 2023. The company has even prepared a total prize pool of up to USD 270,000 (around IDR 4 billion) for this match.

For regional esports tournaments, it will be divided into several regions consisting of: Korea, Europe, North America, Japan, Latin America, and Southeast Asia/Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan with different dates.

Players who advance to the regional quarter-finals will compete on the spot, and the event will be broadcast live on AstraCarnival’s official Twitter channels, YouTube, Twitch, and Tiktok.

The top regional candidates and the next top community tournament players will be invited to three international Invitationals, as well as take part in exhibition games in front of a global audience.

Quoting the Hoyoverse official website, Saturday (3/6/2023), the Genius Invocation TCG Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup tournament for the SEA/HK/MO/TW region, will be held from next August, to be exact, from 26 August to 24 September 2023.
