For your information, Indonesia has joined Group A in the 2023 SEA Games for football. Indonesia is in the same group as Cambodia, Myanmar, Timor Leste and the Philippines.

On paper, Indonesia is above the four opponents in Group A. Even so, Rizky Ridho and his friends continued to train hard for the first match, including adaptation to the field that will be used.

The U-22 Indonesian national team underwent training while adapting to the field in Cambodia, through a session held at The Dream Visakha Training Camp, Phnom Penh, Wednesday afternoon local time.

The training ahead of the first match of the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia group phase lasted for about two hours. Coach Indra Sjafri then said that the training went well and smoothly, and he was grateful because the field where the national team practiced was quite good.

“Alhamdulillah, after yesterday we recovered with two training sessions at the hotel, today we are practicing on the field for the first time. Thank God, we have three field facilities that we can use for our preparation for the first match against the Philippines,” said Indra Sjafri.
