Arsenal Fan Fires Laser Beam In Mudryk’s Face Arrested

– An Arsenal fan who flashed a laser pen at Chelsea winger Mykhalio Mudryk has been arrested. The arrest was made after the match which was held on Wednesday (3/5/2023) early this morning ended for Arsenal’s 3-1 victory.

In that match Mudryk came on as a substitute in the second half.

Then came the footage showing a green laser pen shone in his face.

“An arrest has been made following the use of a laser during last night’s game. This behavior was dangerous and completely unacceptable, and we will fully support the police in their investigation. We will obviously be taking the strongest possible action,” Arsenal wrote in a statement quoted. DailyMail.

Receiving this treatment, Mudryk uploaded a photo on Instagram after the match. He uploaded a photo of himself with lasers on his body writing, “It’s okay”.

To note, this player from Ukraine was linked with a move to Arsenal in January.

However, just days later, the 22-year-old finally joined Chelsea.

Mudryk could suffer damage to one or both eyes and potentially go blind in the worst-case scenario as a result of the laser pen being shone into that part of his face.
