CEO Oliver Kahn Threatened to Be Expelled by Bayern Munich

– Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn’s future at the club is in jeopardy after the Bavarian club endured a disappointing 2022/23 season.

Jan-Christian Dreesen’s name was raised for consideration as a potential replacement for Kahn.

Dreesen, who is currently Bayern’s chief financial officer and co-chairman, is believed to be a strong candidate for the CEO position now held by Kahn.

Dreesen was also mentioned as a prime candidate to become the new boss of the German Football League (DFL).

Dreesen’s contract with Bayern is coming to an end, but the absence of a farewell suggests that his time at the club may not be over.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to let go of goalkeeper Alexander Nubel this summer, with a tag of €15-20 million.

Neither the club nor coach Thomas Tuchel see Nubel as part of their future plans. Nubel also wants to leave the Allianz Arena.
