Dutch MotoGP: Sprained Leg While Running, Quartararo Must Undergo X-rays

– Ahead of the Dutch MotoGP, the 2021 MotoGP world champion, Fabio Quartararo actually had an accident while running in Amsterdam. It is known that Quartararo sprained his leg after tripping while running.

The incident led to him having to undergo an x-ray examination of his ankle.

“While running, I fell. I twisted my ankle and toe. I will have an X-ray in an hour, so I hope it’s nothing serious,” Quartararo said in Assen.

“The accident was quite bad. I was running and I tripped. Running is dangerous,” he continued.

The French racer had earlier crashed in Assen after crashing into Aleix Espargaro and sustaining damage to his motorcycle. As a result, he had earned a long round penalty at Assen the previous year.

“For sure, I’ll be taking pain medication because of (the injury) to my left leg right where I had to change gears and change my weight drastically when changing direction. So I’m going to be more tired, but that’s part of the job. ” he added.
