Euro 2024 Qualification, England Slay North Macedonia 7-0

– England showered guests, North Macedonia with seven goals without reply in the Euro 2024 Qualification continued at Old Trafford, Tuesday (20/6/2023).

England’s seven goal feast was divided into four players’ contributions. There was a Bukayo Saka hat-trick (38′, 47′, 51′), Harry Kane’s brace (29′, 73′), and goals from Marcus Rashford (45′) and Kalvin Phillips (64′).

This victory strengthens England’s position at the top of the Euro 2024 Qualifying Group C standings.

Gareth Southgate’s squad showed dominance in this match. From the early minutes, England immediately locked up the North Macedonian defense. Even so, it was only in the 29th minute that England scored their first goal through Harry Kane’s left foot.

The goal opened England’s goal tap. After that, in the 38th minute, Saka doubled his team’s advantage. Right-footed kick welcomes Kyle Walker’s flat pass.

In the 45th minute, Marcus Rashford also listed his name on the scoreboard. The Kane-Henderson collaboration ended with Rashford completing a pull-back cross in the penalty box. The 3-0 score for England lasted until the first half ended.

After just two minutes of the second half, England opened the scoring through Saka’s second goal after a hard left-foot shot that met Trent’s pass was unable to be dammed by goalkeeper Dimitrievski.

In the 51st minute, Saka completed a hat trick. Kane’s breakthrough bait split the opponent’s defense, Saka then finished it off with a low kick. England 5-0 North Macedonia.

England then added two more goals through Kalvin Phillips (64′) and Harry Kane’s penalty (73′). North Macedonia hopes the fight will end soon.

The 7-0 score for England’s victory lasted until the fight was over.
