Fortnite Cheers: How to earn them

Fortnite accolades have been a part of Battle Royale for some considerable time now, but you might not have realized what they are as they are rarely referenced by their actual name. Commendations are the little icons and prizes that appear at the top of the screen during the course of a Fortnite match when you get certain things, and since they provide you with an XP bonus, it’s useful to know what you need to do to receive them. How to acquire Fortnite Commendations

You’ll automatically acquire Fortnite Commendations as you tap for completing various Battle Royale feats, and you’ll know you’ve earned one when a notification pops up at the top of the screen like the one above. There are a huge number of potential Fortnite accolades to earn that accumulate over the course of a match, and while the following list is by no means exhaustive, it should give you an idea of ​​the sorts of things to look out for: Fortnite Cheers

• battle ready – First player to reach maximum health and shields
• Finders Keepers – First player in the match to collect a weapon from an eliminated player
• Early Bird – First player to pick up a legendary item
• gift of life – First player in the match to restart a player
• stop exit – First player to be eliminated
• Augment the augmentation specialist
• single digit – 5 eliminates in a match
• double digits – 10 eliminates in a match
• double elimination – 2 kills in a short duration
• headshot – hit or eliminate with a headshot
• shot in the dark – More than 150 meters !!

Unfortunately, there’s no way to keep track of how many Fortnite accolades you’ve earned overall, but you can get a summary at the end of each match. When the game is over, follow the match stats prompt at the bottom of the screen to see a round of your match stats along with a list of all the commendations you earned during it.
