Indonesia vs Argentina: Rafael Struick is ready to make a sensation

– Indonesian national team striker Rafael Struick is ready to fight against Argentina in the FIFA Matchday match at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (19/6/2023).

If he regains the trust of Coach Shin Tae-yong, Struick said he would give his best on the field.

The 20-year-old player did not think about the superstar and captain of the Argentina national team, Lionel Messi, who was not present in Indonesia.

“It will be a difficult game, they are number one in the world, we will give our best, fight 100 per cent and we will see what we can get.” said the player of Indonesian-Dutch descent.

The hope is, I can play, the coach in the side, I think we will defend the whole game, maybe with a few counter-attacks, I hope to show myself, the main focus is to work hard, defend and be 100 per cent.”

“Not too nervous, it’s a big stadium, big opponents, maybe a few, but that’s normal,” concluded the player who plays with the ADO Den Haag club.

As additional information, Rafael Struick made his debut with the Indonesian national team in a 0-0 draw against Palestine, in the FIFA Matchday match at the Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Surabaya, Wednesday (14/6) yesterday. He played for 45 minutes, before being substituted at half-time.

Meanwhile, Argentina just defeated Australia 2-0, in the FIFA Matchday match at the Workers Stadium, Beijing, China, Thursday (15/6) evening WIB. Lionel Messi (2′) and German Pezzella (68′) scored two goals for Argentina.
