Kade Ruotolo Prepares Ammunition for MMA Debut

– Having dominated in sports submissions grappling at One Championship, Kade Ruotolo is ready to venture into MMA. Ruotolo revealed that he had been preparing for his new sport for a long time.

According to him, although he does not have a set date when he will enter the ring in MMA gloves, Ruotolo wants to make his debut in the sport within this year.

“Right now I don’t have a set date for when I will fight (in MMA). We haven’t signed anything yet, but I 100% want to compete this year,” Ruotolo said in an interview after his match at One Fight Night 11: Eersel vs Menshikov on Saturday (10/6/2024), Ruotolo

“Many of my family and coaches asked me to study MMA before I debuted so that I would not always rely on my jiu jitsu. So, I want to make sure I have ample ammo before I enter the arena,” he added.

The athlete from California said he had meticulously prepared everything he would need in his new sport. As well as training in his usual gym at Atos Jiu Jitsu, Ruotolo has explored several gyms to choose the type of gym that suits him for his MMA career.

“I have tried training in several gyms to choose the one that suits me best. I’ve been trying out training at Engstrom Team in Mexico, and later when I get home I’m going to try training at the UFC Gym with Cub Swanson. In my gym, Atos has also added several MMA programs to my preparation,” he concludes.
