On a vacation trip to Japan, Marina Ruy Barbosa was surprised by the earthquake that hit the Asian country. The actress even posted a warning she received on her cell phone about the phenomenon on her Instagram stories.
In the post, Marina shows a screenshot where a message can be read in English and Japanese from the Japan Meteorological Agency. “Emergency alert. Earthquake advance warning: Strong shaking is expected soon. Remain calm and seek shelter nearby.”
The earthquake hit Ibaraki Prefecture, in central Japan, near Tokyo. The earthquake this Thursday, 21st, had a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale. According to the local press, there are no reports of victims or significant damage.
Marina, who is in the country with her fiancé, businessman Abdul Fares, and her parents, Paulo Ruy Barbosa and Gio Ruy Barbosa, also republished a video showing the tremor and posted a selfie with an expression of astonishment. The actress did not comment on whether she felt the earthquake or saw reflections of the earthquake firsthand.
