Messi Scores Beautiful Goals in Debut at Inter Miami, Beckham Crying

Florida, Beritasatu.com – Glad and amazed, that’s how one of the owners of Inter Miami, Davi Beckham, saw Lionel Messi’s beautiful goal that led to a 2-1 win over Cruz Azul.

The former Barcelona and PSG player led Inter Miami to victory with a free kick goal at the end of the game.

In that match, Beckham and also other Inter Miami owners, namely Jorge Mas and Jose Mas, were also present to watch from the stands.

Inter Miami’s hard work of four years of planning and two years of chasing Messi to bring Messi to the club paid off.

“Worth it,” Beckham said earlier this week.

After the match Beckham looked teary eyes. “It’s a great moment for the country. Of course it’s also a great moment for the league and it’s a very proud moment for us,” said Beckham.

In his debut match at the Major League Soccer club, Messi was greeted enthusiastically by the audience. Messi kindly responded to the audience’s greeting with a wave of his hand while sitting on the bench and warming up.

Several times the former Barcelona player also waved to the audience while playing.

Messi came on early in the second half as Inter Miami led 1-0. He hugged the player he was replacing, midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi. Messi’s entry into the field greeted boisterous 21,000 spectators who stood.
