Conquer Sparta, PSV Take Care of the Opportunity to Win the Dutch League

– PSV Eindhoven continues to maintain their hopes of becoming champions of the Dutch League or Eredivisie after beating hosts Sparta Rotterdam, 1-0, Saturday (6/5/2023) at Sparta Stadium.

Thanks to this narrow victory, PSV maintains the opportunity to become the Dutch champion. They are now in second place with 68 points or five points difference with standings leader Feyenoord. PSV has played 31 times while Feyenoord has only 30. This means that PSV still has five matches left while its competitors have six.

Feyenoord will play their 31st match by visiting Exelcior, Sunday (7/5/2023).

The only goal that brought PSV to three points in this match was scored by Anwar El Ghazi. PSV had three other chances to add to the lead but failed to score.
