New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing controversy over Adipurusha, the Mumbai Police has decided to provide security to the film’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla. In the midst of huge uproar and uproar regarding the film, Manoj Muntashir had demanded security from the Mumbai Police. He had expressed apprehension of danger.
This week the much awaited film Adipurush release was released in theatres, which the audience did not respond as expected. Some of its dialogues started being opposed and the controversy increased so much that Manoj Muntashir came under attack from the people. Tweets against Manoj Muntashir started happening on social media. After this today Manoj Muntashir said that he is in danger and Mumbai Police should provide security.
Manoj Muntashir is facing criticism for writing dialogues like ‘Teri Bua Ka Bagichi Hai’, ‘Kapda Tere Baap Ka’ and ‘Unki Lanka Laga Denge’. Although Manoj Muntashir has claimed that the controversial dialogues will be changed soon. Based on the story of Ramayana, Adipurush is being accused of hurting Hindu sentiments. After the uproar, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that no one has the right to hurt religious sentiments. On passing the film by the Censor Board, he said that he did whatever the Censor Board had to decide. However, Anurag Thakur also said that the makers have talked about changing the dialogue.
The more the controversy the more the earning, this line is fitting on Adipurush as well. Protests are taking place in many parts of the country regarding the film. However, it does not seem to have any effect on Adipurush’s business. Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer and directed by Om Raut, the film has done a worldwide business of around Rs 340 crores in the first weekend.
