In the first round, the 2023 and 2024 All England champions will be challenged by Pharanyu Kaosamaang/Worrapol Thongsa-Nga from Thailand.

“They are not opponents that are easy to beat. They also have good quality of play. So we have to prepare the best,” added Rian.

For women's doubles, the pair Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto will challenge first seeds Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan from China.

“Facing the first seed who has a lot of achievements and experience, we just want to enjoy playing. We don't think about winning and losing. We just focus on looking for one point at a time,” said Rebekah.
