Reports of Advertising and Sponsorship of Gambling Houses in League 1 Rejected, This Says the Police

Football observer, Akmal Marhali, reported Persikabo 1973, PSSI, and PT Liga Indonesia (LIB) regarding the case of advertising and gambling house sponsorship in League 1 2023-2024 to Bareskrim Polri. However, the report was rejected.

Karo Penmas, the Public Relations Division of the National Police, said that there was no rejection of the public’s report. However, there have been previous reports regarding this matter.

“So the report that was complained to the SPKT Bareskrim Polri actually had a previous report. Reports with the same reported party and the same object, so once again there is no rejection,” Ramadhan told reporters at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta, Thursday (13 /7/2023).

Ramadhan said, the report related to this matter has now gone up to investigation status. Then, the report is also with the same object, namely related to cases of advertisements and sponsorship of gambling houses that occurred in League 1 2023-2024.

“In this regard, because the object is the same, SPKT said that they should make a complaint letter and this complaint letter will be merged with the LP earlier and of course it will be followed up,” he said.

“Once again there is no denial, this case is in the process of investigation,” he continued.

Ramadhan further said that the case was still being investigated and the party gave directions to make a complaint letter addressed to Bareskrim Polri.

Later, we will unite the complaint letter with the LP in the investigation process with the same object.

Previously, Akmal Marhali, reported to Bareskrim Polri, Wednesday (12/7/2023). Akmal reported it to the police because he was worried that the gambling house sponsor would ignore it. However, the report was not accepted because Bareskrim assessed that a similar case had been handled by the Football Anti-Mafia Task Force.
