One of smartphones the premium class that is being produced in this new factory is the Oppo Find N2 Flip. This device is the first folding screen cellphone produced at the Oppo Indonesia factory.

To be able to assemble it, the Oppo factory brought in a new high-tech machine specifically for the Find N2 Flip production line. This step is a manifestation of Oppo’s commitment to providing the best experience for Indonesian consumers when using the device flagship.

“This new machine is a big investment that was brought in specifically to produce the Oppo Find N2 Flip. For now, these machines are rarely used for other cellphones,” said Rafqi Ramadan, Head of New Product Introduction for Find N2 Flip, during a visit to Oppo Manufacturing Indonesia in Tangerang, Thursday (4/5/2023).

On this visit, Tekno Liputan6.com had the opportunity to see firsthand the production process of the Oppo Find N2 Flip made by the Oppo Indonesia factory. The assembly process has a number of differences from the assembly of other products, starting from the length of the production line, the machines used, to the number of workers in the line.

The folding cellphone production process consists of three stages, namely assembly (assembly), testing (testing), and packing (packaging). All of these processes can be skipped most quickly with about 1.5 hours.

In the first stage, various components were installed, such as screens and mainboard, flash camera, speaker box and others. The process of installing the connectors and tightening the bolts on the device is also carried out by the machine so that the pressure level is more measurable.

The lens that was assembled for the Oppo Find N2 Flip no longer uses the camera module, so the assembly is done in a special sterile room. In the process, machines are used humidity which serves to minimize dirt or other particles from gathering in one area and entering the device components.

At this stage the process is also carried out current test to ensure components conform to standards. If any problems are found, the unit will be disassembled and reassembled from scratch.
