Strengthening Arema FC Again, Greg Nwokolo Ready to Contribute

Malang, Beritasatu.com – Striker Greg Nwokolo is wearing again jersey Arema FC. Greg previously scored 15 goals in his first playing period at Arema FC. At that time he formed a team with three other strikers, Alberto Goncalves, Cristian Gonzales and Kayamba Gumbs.

Now after 10 years he has decided to make a positive contribution to Singo Edan, nicknamed Arema FC.

“What is clear is that I am very happy to be back on this team (Arema FC). Hopefully we can make a positive contribution to this team,” said the former Madura United FC player.

Greg admits that he always pays attention to Arema FC’s matches, which have yet to win in the first four matches of the 2023/2024 League 1 season. Even though Arema FC is in a slump, Greg believes he can help his team rise.

“I always see Arema’s performance. This team has potential. Of course, I hope to help improve Arema’s position in the future,” he continued.

Meanwhile Arema FC Coach, Joko Susilo said Greg was chosen to be recruited again because he has a leadership spirit on the field.

“Greg was taken because he is a leader. He has experience, the Arema team needs a leader,” said Joko Susilo.

Joko hopes that Greg’s arrival can improve Arema FC’s weak front line.
