Supporters Welcome Indonesia Open 2024 Transfer to IMS

– This year will be the last time Istora Senayan will host the prestigious Indonesia Open badminton tournament. The next edition, the Indonesia Open, will be held at the Indonesia Arena or Indoor Multifunction Stadium (IMS) Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).

Another badminton lover, Aldi has come all the way from Bandung to bring his small family to witness the Indonesia Open 2023. Another spectator, Sila, admitted that he has regularly watched the Indonesia Open for several years. He also agreed with the transfer of the Indonesia Open venue to the Indonesia Arena with a larger capacity than Istora.

“If I move, I also agree because the capacity is bigger, and I think it’s more exciting. In Istora it’s actually also comfortable, I want to sit wherever the athletes can see it. Hopefully it’s the same there, but maybe if the ticket is a bit cheaper, it’s like seeing ants,” concluded Sila, laughing.
