Surya Paloh and Airlangga Reportedly Meet Four Eyes Tonight

The general chairman (Ketum) of NasDem Surya Paloh reportedly met with the Ketum of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto on Friday (5/5/2023) evening. Information developed among journalists stated that the meeting took place in the Tamrin area, Central Jakarta, around 19.00 WIB. However, this meeting took place privately, not involving other high-ranking officials from each political party.

When confirmed team B-UniverseNasDem Deputy Secretary General Hermawi Taslim said he was not aware of the meeting between Surya Paloh and Airlangga.

“This afternoon, Surya Paloh had a meeting with Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. Tonight (Surya Paloh and Airlangga Hartarto’s meeting), I don’t know,” said Taslim, Friday (5/5/2023).

Previously, Surya Paloh and Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan had a meeting at the Wisma Nusantara Restaurant, Central Jakarta. During this meeting, Luhut had suggested the names of vice presidential candidates to accompany Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election. However, Luhut was reluctant to reveal the names proposed to Surya Paloh.

“Pak Surya asked, yes I answered (Anies vice presidential candidate). Yes, I was asked, yes I answered,” said Luhut, Friday (5/5/2023).
