The Marvels: what the movie is about and what you didn’t see from the first trailer of the MCU trio

The Marvels released its first teaser trailer and this one gives us a better look at the trio of MCU superheroines… but what is the movie about? We show you in this note!

Having anticipated that the first teaser trailer was just around the corner, Marvel Studios uploaded the preview of The Marvels to their social networks. In it we have a first look at the new trio of the mcu formed by Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeu and Kamala Khan, who have a big problem that unites them.

The sneak peek picks up right where it left off. Ms Marvel, and we see kamala changing places with Monicawho is now an astronaut of SABER. What this teaser reveals to us is that every time the three protagonists use their powers, they exchange places with the other. That is why at the end of Ms. Marvel Kamala disappears and in its place is found Caroland in the trailer we find out that Monica appeared where he was Carol and where was Kamala Monica. Upon discovering this, the team will have to work together in order to save the Universe.

The interesting thing about this preview is that there are some lucky ones who had already seen it for the simple fact of having been on the panel Marvel in the D22 at the end of last year. It was not known exactly when this trailer was going to reach the eyes of the rest of the fans of the franchise, but we finally arrived at that moment. It probably took so long to appear because the movie had to change its release date from July 28, 2023 to November 10, 2023.

The person in charge of directing this delivery is Nia DaCosta (Candyman) based on a script he wrote with Megan McDonnell (Meet Cute), elissa karasik and Zeb Wells (Deadpool 3). As always, the executive producer is the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feigeand he is added Louis D’Esposito (Agent Carter), Victoria Alonso (Argentina, 1985), Mary Livanos (WandaVision) and Matthew Jenkins (Murder on the Orient Express) with the same role.

The official synopsis of the film reveals the following: “Carol Danversalso known as Captain Marvel, recovered his identity from the tyrannical cree and took revenge on the Supreme Intelligence, but the unintended consequences cause Carol bear the weight of a destabilized universe. When her homework sends her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a revolutionary cree his powers tangle with those of the superfan of Jersey City Kamala Khan, also known as ms marveland the estranged niece of Carolnow, Captain Monica Rambeauastronaut of KNOW. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work together to save the universe as The Marvels“.

This story is not based on any particular comic, but it does take the name of a short series that came out where the stories of various characters were told from the point of view of a journalist named Phil Sheldon, who helped reinvent different stories. The good news is that The Marvels keeps its release date for November of this year. And we don’t have to wait long to see a project from the mcu given that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hits theaters in just one month, on May 5th. With these two movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaand the series that will be released throughout this year, the mcu begins his phase 5.
