PS Plus Extra: two Xbox games will be at the top of the lineup in April

PS Plus Extra, the PlayStation game library service, will add Wolfenstein and Doom Eternal among others to its proposal of the month. We tell you more details, in this note!

Eternal Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will top the list of new additions to PS Plus Extra. These games will be available to download from April 18, as confirmed PlayStation on its official blog. The list will also include other novelties that include Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Riders Republic, The Evil Withinand the exclusive Sackboy: A Big Adventure among others.

The complete list of games that are added to PS Plus Extra, the intermediate tier above the essential one, will look like this:

• Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS4, PS5)
• Eternal Doom (PS4, PS5)
• Riders Republic (PS4, PS5)
• Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (PS4)
• Slay the Spire (PS4)
• Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS4, PS5)
• The Evil Within (PS4)
• Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PS4)
• Bass Master Fishing (PS4, PS5)
• Paradise Killer (PS4, PS5)
• Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4, PS5)

Those who also have the premium subscription, the highest of all, will also have access to four classic games and one extra:

• Doom (1993)
• Doom 2 (1994)
• Doom 64 (1997)
• Doom 3 (2003)
• Dishonored: Definitive Edition

The addition of several of these games is interesting because there are so many Bethesda titles. For those who are not aware, Bethesda was acquired a few years ago by Microsoft and today operates as an internal studio within the company.

By this date, Microsoft works on acquiring Activision Blizzard (Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo and a thousand other things). sonywhich has many arguments against this acquisition, suggested to world regulators that Xbox may have incentives to stop releasing games on their platforms to make them exclusive, or failing that, release lower versions to PlayStation. However, this month includes a variety of titles that technically belong to Redmond.
